DHCP/4/DHCP_CLIENT_IP_CONFLICT: DHCP client received an ARP packet with a conflict IP address. (IPAddress=[ipAddr], MACAddress=[mac-address], Interface=[ifName])

Description

The DHCP client receives the ARP reply packet about the IP address conflict, which records the allocated IP address, interface's MAC address, and interface name.

Parameters

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning

ipAddr

IP address of the DHCP client

mac-address

MAC address of the DHCP client

ifName

Name of the inbound interface of the DHCP client

Possible Causes

The IP address assigned to the DHCP client conflicted with the IP address of another network device.

Procedure

  • Collect alarm information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.
