Message

BRASAAA/4/FLOWSAIDCHECK: The traffic volume or the number of users decreases. (Interface=[interface-name], (Current/Last1/Last2)User number=[current-user-num]/[last1-user-num]/[last2-user-num], Input speed=[current-inbound-speed]/[last1-inbound-speed]/[last2-inbound-speed] Mbps, Output speed=[current-outbound-speed]/[last1-outbound-speed]/[last2-outbound-speed] Mbps)

This log is supported only on NetEngine 8000 F1A.

In VS mode, this log is supported only by the admin VS.

Description

SAID detection was triggered when the number of users or the traffic rate decreased rapidly.

Parameters

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning

interface-name

Interface name.

current-user-num

Number of users in the current period.

last1-user-num

Number of users in the previous period.

last2-user-num

Number of users in the last but two periods.

current-inbound-speed

Upstream traffic rate in the current period.

last1-inbound-speed

Upstream traffic rate in the previous period.

last2-inbound-speed

Upstream traffic rate in the last but two periods.

current-outbound-speed

Downstream traffic rate in the current period.

last1-outbound-speed

Downstream traffic rate in the previous period.

last2-outbound-speed

Downstream traffic rate in the last but two periods.

Possible Causes

Cause 1:

The number of users in the current period is 50% less than that in the previous period. (The default value is 50%, which can be changed using the aaa-said check-rule user-number reduce-ratio command.)

Cause 2:

The traffic rates in both the current and previous periods are 50% lower than those in the previous two periods. (The default value is 50%, which can be adjusted using the aaa-said check-rule flow-speed reduce-ratio command.)

Procedure

1. Check the cause of the log. If the log is triggered by the decrease in the number of users, go to Step 2. If the log is triggered by the decrease in the traffic rate, go to Step 3.

2. Check the cause for users to go offline. If the users went offline abnormally, go to Step 4. If the user went offline as desired, go to Step 5.

3. Check the cause of the traffic rate decrease. If the traffic rate decreases abnormally, go to Step 4. If the traffic rate decreases normally, go to Step 5.

4. Contact technical support personnel.

5. End.
