LCM/2/HWChannelFault: The channel between [Port1] and [Port2] is faulty.

In VS mode, this log is supported only by the admin VS.

Description

The channel between ports was faulty.

Possible Causes

Cause 1: On a single chassis, a network interface on the board was faulty.

Cause 2: In a cluster, the cable between an ICU on a CCC and an MPU on a CLC, between two ICUs, or between MPUs was not properly connected.

Procedure

1. If it is a single chassis, please collect the alarm information, log information, and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel..

2. If it is a cluster, check inter-chassis cable connections.

If inter-chassis cables are not properly connected, connect them properly. Then, check whether the recovery log LCM/6/HWChannelNormal is generated. If the recovery log is not generated, please collect the alarm information, log information, and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.
