Description

Received an unknown signal message.

Parameters

msg-type	Indicates the type of message.
peer-ip	Indicates the remote ip address.
reason	Indicates the reason of the error.

Possible Causes

The received L2VPN LDP signaling packets has an error or unknown field.

The possible cause is that the remote device is a non-Huawei device.

After this symptom occurs, the VC connection may fail to be set up, the VC labels may fail to be released, the VC status may be incorrect, and the MAC address entries may fail to be cleared.

Procedure

Check whether the signaling packet sent from the remote device complies with the RFC.
