OSPFV3/4/OSPFV3_TRAP_IF_STATE_CHNG: The status of the non-virtual interface has changed. (RouterId=[RouterId], IfIndex=[IfIndex], IfInstId=[IfInstId], IfState=[IfState], InterfaceName=[InterfaceName], ChgReason=[ChgReason])

Description

The status of a non-virtual OSPFv3 interface changed. The possible cause is that the non-virtual interface working as a physical interface went Down.

Parameters

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning

RouterId

Router ID of the local device.

IfIndex

Interface index of the local device.

IfInstId

Instance ID of the local device.

IfState

Interface status.

InterfaceName

Interface name.

ChgReason

Reason for the status change of an OSPF interface on a non-virtual link.

Possible Causes

Cause 1: The status of a physical interface alternated between Up and Down.

Cause 2: An OSPFv3 relationship was being established.

Procedure

1. Run the display ospfv3 interface command to check the status of the interface.

  • If the interface is Down, go to Step 2.
  • If the interface is in another state, go to step 4.

2. Run the display interface [interface-type [interface-number]] command to check whether the interface is Up.

  • If the interface is Up, go to Step 3.
  • If the current interface is in other states, view the log file to check whether the command is configured on the interface.
  • If it is a misoperation, run the undo shutdown command on the interface. Otherwise, go to Step 4.
  • If the link is faulty, replace the link or go to step 3.

3. Collect log and configuration information, and contact Huawei technical support personnel.
