Cause 5: The module temperature was high.

Procedure

Cause 1: A filler panel was not inserted to the empty slot.

1. After a filler panel is inserted to the empty slot, run the display_temperature slot slot-id command to check whether the temperature of the slot restores to the normal range.

  • If the temperature restores to the normal range, go to Step 3.
  • If the temperature fails to restore to the normal range, go to Step 2.

2. Collect the alarm information, log information, and configuration information, and contact technical support engineers.

3. End.

Cause 2: The fan did not function properly.

1. Replace the fan, and run the display_temperature slot slot-id command to check whether the temperature of the slot restores to the normal range.

  • If the temperature restores to the normal range, go to Step 3.
  • If the temperature fails to restore to the normal range, go to Step 2.

2. Collect the alarm information, log information, and configuration information, and contact technical support engineers.

3. End.

Cause 3: The air filter of the fan module was clogged.

1. Clean the air filter of the fan, and run the display_temperature slot slot-id command to check whether the temperature of the slot restores to the normal range.

  • If the temperature restores to the normal range, go to Step 3.
  • If the temperature fails to restore to the normal range, go to Step 2.

2. Collect the alarm information, log information, and configuration information, and contact technical support engineers.

3. End.

Cause 4: The ambient temperature was high.

1. Adjust the ambient temperature, and run the display_temperature slot slot-id command to check whether the temperature of the slot restores to the normal range.

  • If the temperature restores to the normal range, go to Step 3.
  • If the temperature fails to restore to the normal range, go to Step 2.

2. Collect the alarm information, log information, and configuration information, and contact technical support engineers.

3. End.

Cause 5: The module temperature was high.
