CLKM/4/hwClkSourceSysClkLockModeChange: The working mode of the clock source changes. (hwClockChassisId=[hwClockChassisId], hwClockSourceOldLockMode=[hwClockSourceOldLockMode], hwClockAttributeChassisIndex=[hwClockAttributeChassisIndex], hwClockAttributeSysClkLockMode=[hwClockAttributeSysClkLockMode])

In VS mode, this log is supported only by the admin VS.

Description

The working mode of the system clock source changed.

Parameters

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning

hwClockChassisId

ID of the chassis where the clock source is located. The value is fixed to 1 for a single chassis.

hwClockSourceOldLockMode

Running mode of the clock source before the switchover.

hwClockAttributeChassisIndex

Index of the chassis where the clock source is located. In the case of a single chassis, the value is fixed to 1.

hwClockAttributeSysClkLockMode

Running mode of the system clock. The options are as follows:

  • free(0)
  • fast-lock(1)
  • lock(2)
  • hold(3)

Possible Causes

Cause 1: The working mode is manually set.

Cause 2: The clock source is lost.

Procedure

1. Run the display clock config command to check the running mode of the clock source.

  • If the value of System trace source State is free, the clock source is in free-run mode. Go to Step 4.
  • If the value of System trace source State is hold, the clock source is in hold state. Go to Step 4.
  • If the value of System trace source State is normal, go to Step 2.

2. Run the display clock source command to check whether the clock source is selected.

  • If the value of Current system trace source is empty, the clock source is lost. In this case, go to Step 4.
  • If the value of Current system trace source is not empty, go to Step 3.

3. Collect trap, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support.

4. End.
