Procedure

  • Cause 139264: The fan module of the fan is abnormal.

1.Check whether the fan module is properly installed:

    • If the fan module is not properly installed, install it properly.
    • If the fan is properly installed, check whether the fan is blocked.
    • If the fan module is blocked, remove the blocker.
    • If not, replace the fan module.

    2. Collect the information about alarms, logs, and configurations, and then contact technical support personnel.

    3. End.

  • Cause 139265: The cable was removed from the fan.

    1. Plugging in the cable.

    2. If the alarm persists, collect alarm information, log information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.

    3. End.

  • Cause 139266: The fan type is mismatch with the device.

    1. Replace the fan module with a fan module that matches the chassis.

    2. If the alarm persists, collect alarm information, log information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.

    3. End.

  • Cause 139267: The 48V power supply of the fan module is faulty.

    1. Check whether the 48 V power supply for the boards in the other slots is normal.

Two 48V power modules in backup mode supply power to fans.

    2. If so, replace the fan module.

    3. If there is an alarm of abnormal 48 V power supply on another board, refer to the handling procedure in hwPowerInvalid_136960.

    4. If the alarm persists, collect alarm information, log information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.

    5. End.

  • Cause 139268: The fan register failed.

    1. Remove the fan module and insert it again.

    • If the fan module is registered, it indicates that the fan module was improperly inserted.
    • If the fan module is not registered, replace the fan module.

    2. If the alarm persists, collect alarm information, log information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.

    3. End.

  • Cause 139269: Failure of communication between fan and CMU.

    1. Collect the information about alarms, logs, and configurations, and then contact technical support personnel.

    2. End.

  • Cause 139271: The fans in the fan module failed.

    1. Change the fan module.

    2. If the alarm persists, collect alarm information, log information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.

    3. End.

  • Cause 139272: The first 48V power supply of the fan module is faulty.

    1. Remove and re-install the problem fan module. Then, check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If the alarm is cleared, go to Step 5.
    • If the alarm persists, go to Step 2.

    2. Swap the slot of the problem fault module with that of a normal fan module. Then, check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If the problem fan module still reports the alarm in the new slot, go to Step 3.
    • If the slot housing the problem fan module reports the alarm, go to Step 4.

    3. Replace the problem fan module. Then, check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If the alarm is cleared, go to Step 5.
    • If the alarm persists, go to Step 4.

    4. Contact technical support personnel and provide them with collected logs.

    5. End.

  • Cause 139273: The second 48V power supply of the fan module is faulty.

    5. End.

  • Cause 139274: The MonitorBUS node of fan is abnormal.

    1. Remove and insert the fan module to check whether the alarm is cleared.

    2. If the alarm persists, collect alarm information, log information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.

    3. End.

  • Cause 139275: The fan power improvement is not supported.

1.Change the fan module and check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If the alarm is cleared, go to Step 3.
    • If the alarm persists, go to Step 2.

2.Collect alarm information, log information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.

    3.End.

  • Cause 139276: The attempt to improve the fan power failed.

1.Change the fan module and check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If the alarm is cleared, go to Step 3.
    • If the alarm persists, go to Step 2.
