BRASAM/4/hwLocalIPPoolDifferWithServer: DHCP server's IP pool is different from the local one. (PoolNo.=[PoolNo],PoolName=[PoolName])

This log is supported only on NetEngine 8000 F1A.

In VS mode, this log is supported only by the admin VS.

Description

The configuration of the address pool on the DHCP server is different from the local remote address pool on the router.

Parameters

PoolNo	Indicates the index of the address pool.
PoolName	Indicates the name of the address pool.

Possible Causes

When the user accesses the DHCP server to obtain the allocated IP address, the user refers to the information configured on the router. The information such as gateway, mask, and address range is configured for the access to the DHCP server. If the information differs from the information of the DHCP server, the alarm is generated.

Procedure

1. Compare the configurations of the address pools on the DHCP server and the router by using the display ip pool command. Then re-configure the router address pool.

2. Check whether the alarm persists.

If the alarm persists, go to Step 3.

If not, go to Step 4.

3. Collect alarm information, log information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.
