PTP/4/hwPTPRingFiberLengthChange_active: The optical fiber length of the ring-network is changed. (hwPtpPortName=[hwPtpPortName], hwPtpPortIfIndex=[hwPtpPortIfIndex], hwPtpPortRingFiberLengthChangeValue=[hwPtpPortRingFiberLengthChangeValue], hwPtpPortRingFiberLengthChangeValueFlag=[hwPtpPortRingFiberLengthChangeValueFlag])
In VS mode, this log is supported only by the admin VS.
Parameter Name | Parameter Meaning |
---|---|
hwPtpPortName |
Indicates the name of the current port. |
hwPtpPortIfIndex |
Interface index |
hwPtpPortRingFiberLengthChangeValue |
Indicates the new time offset caused by the fiber length change of the current port. The new time offset is the sum of the currently configured fiber asymmetry compensation value. (unit: ns) |
hwPtpPortRingFiberLengthChangeValueFlag |
Indicates the plus or minus sign of the new time offset caused by the fiber change of the current port. The options are as follows: Negative sign (0) Positive sign (1) |
The difference between the time offset caused by the fiber length change and the set asymmetric correction value exceeded the acceptable range (from - 200 ns to + 200 ns).
1. Run the display this command in the interface view to check whether the asymmetric correction value is configured on the interface.
2. Run the ptp asymmetry-correction { positive correction-value | negative correction-value } command to reconfigure the asymmetric correction value. If the alarm persists, go to Step 3.
3. Collect trap, log, and configuration information, and contact Huawei technical support personnel.
4. End.
