L2VPN/2/hwRemoteApPwParaMisMatch_active: The low-speed interface parameter settings reported by the remoter AP mismatch those of the PW.(VcId =[VcId], VcType=[VcType], PeerAddress=[PeerAddress], EncapNum=[EncapNum], JitterBuffer=[JitterBuffer], RtpHeader=[RtpHeader], IdleCode=[IdleCode], InterfaceIndex=[RemoteIfIndex], InterfaceName=[RemoteIfName], RemotePhyType=[RemotePhyType], RemoteLinkType=[RemoteLinkType], RemoteEncap=[RemoteEncap], RemoteMinEncapNum=[RemoteMinEncapNum], RemoteMaxEncapNum=[RemoteMaxEncapNum], RemoteEncapStep=[RemoteEncapStep], RemoteMinJitterBuffer=[RemoteMinJitterBuffer], RemoteMaxJitterBuffer=[RemoteMaxJitterBuffer], RemoteJitterBufferStep=[RemoteJitterBufferStep], RemoteTtpHeader=[RemoteTtpHeader], RemoteMinIdleCode=[RemoteMinIdleCode], RemoteMaxIdleCode=[RemoteMaxIdleCode])

Description

An alarm was generated because the PW parameter settings on the remote AP mismatched those on the aggregation side.

Parameters

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning

VcId

VC ID of the PW

VcType

Encapsulation type supported by the Remote-AP interface

PeerAddress

PW peer address

EncapNum

TDM frame encapsulation number allowed by the Remote-AP interface

JitterBuffer

Jitter buffer depth for TDM frames transmitted by the Remote-AP interface

RtpHeader

RTP header carried in a TDM packet transmitted by the Remote-AP interface

IdleCode

Idle code filled when jitter buffer underflows during the transmission of TDM frames by the Remote-AP interface

RemoteIfIndex

Index of the Remote-AP interface

RemoteIfName

Name of the Remote-AP interface

RemotePhyType

Physical type of the Remote-AP interface

RemoteLinkType

Link type of the Remote-AP interface

RemoteEncap

Encapsulation type supported by the remote AC interface

RemoteMinEncapNum

Minimum TDM frame encapsulation number allowed by the remote AC interface

RemoteMaxEncapNum

Maximum TDM frame encapsulation number allowed by the remote AC interface

RemoteEncapStep

TDM frame encapsulation step length allowed by the remote AC interface

RemoteMinJitterBuffer

Minimum jitter buffer depth for TDM frames transmitted by the remote AC interface

RemoteMaxJitterBuffer

Maximum jitter buffer depth for TDM frames transmitted by the remote AC interface

RemoteJitterBufferStep

Step length for the jitter buffer depth of TDM frames transmitted by the remote AC interface

RemoteTtpHeader

RTP header carried in a TDM packet transmitted by the remote AC interface

RemoteMinIdleCode

Minimum idle code filled when jitter buffer underflows during the transmission of TDM frames by the remote AC interface

RemoteMaxIdleCode

Maximum idle code filled when jitter buffer underflows during the transmission of TDM frames by the remote AC interface

Possible Causes

The PW parameter settings on the remote AP mismatched those on the aggregation side.

Procedure

1. Check whether the TDM frame encapsulation number configured on the aggregation side is within the range reported by the remote AP and meets the specified step length requirement. Normally, the TDM frame encapsulation number is 8, 16, 32, or 40.

  • If the TDM frame encapsulation number is appropriate, go to 2.
  • If the TDM frame encapsulation number is inappropriate, go to 4.

2. Check whether the maximum jitter buffer depth configured on the aggregation side is within the range reported by the remote AP and meets the specified step length requirement. Normally, the maximum jitter buffer depth is 8, 16, 32, or 64.

  • If the maximum jitter buffer depth is appropriate, go to 3.
  • If the maximum jitter buffer depth is inappropriate, go to 4.

3. Check whether the idle code configured on the aggregation side is the same as that reported by the AP.

  • If they are the same, go to 5.
  • If they are different, go to 4.

4. Run the mpls l2vc [ instance-name instance-name ] encapsulation encapsulation-type ip-address vc-id [ [ control-word | no-control-word ] | tunnel-policy tunnel-policy-name | tdm-encapsulation-number tdm-encapsulation-number | tdm-sequence-number | jitter-buffer jitter-buffer | rtp-header | idle-code idle-code ] *command to reconfigure the TDM frame encapsulation number, maximum jitter buffer depth, or idle code on the aggregation side. Then, check whether the alarm is cleared.

  • If the alarm is cleared, go to 6.
  • If the alarm persists, go to 5.

5. Collect alarm information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.

6. End.
