SYSTEM/2/hwStorageUtilizationRisingAlarm_active: The memory usage exceeded the pre-set overload threshold. (ChassisId=[ChassisId],SlotId=[SlotId])

In VS mode, this log is supported only by the admin VS.

Description

The device continuously samples the storage usage, such as the memory usage and storage medium usage. In a sampling period (number of consecutive overload times x sampling interval), if the usage sampled every time is greater than the overload threshold, this alarm is generated.

Possible Causes

The storage usage of the CF card exceeded the pre-set overload threshold

Procedure

1. Run the cd command in the user view to access the CF card directory and run the dir command to check the CF card storage space usage.

If the CF card storage usage is higher than the overload threshold, go to Step 2.
If the CF card storage usage is lower than the overload threshold, go to Step 3.

2. Delete unnecessary files to reduce the CF card storage space usage. Then check whether the alarm is cleared.

If the alarm is no longer generated, the problem is resolved.
If the alarm persists, go to Step 3.

3. Collect log files and contact Huawei technical support.
