Message

SYSTEM/2/hwSystemConfigError_active: A system configuration error occurs. ( EntityTrapFaultID = [EntityTrapFaultID])

In VS mode, this log is supported only by the admin VS.

Description

The system configuration is incorrect.

Parameters

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning

EntityTrapFaultID

Trap error code:

  • 144128: The PAF version is inconsistent with the version of the startup software package.
  • 144129: The boards and subcards of the device are not inserted into the corresponding slots.
  • 144130: The versions of the active and standby main control boards are inconsistent.
  • 144133: The memory of the active main control board is inconsistent with that of the standby main control board.
  • 144134: The PTN startup mode does not match the mode selected during license activation.

Possible Causes

  • Cause 144128: The version in the PAF file is inconsistent with that of the startup software package.
  • Cause 144129: The boards and subcards were installed in incorrect slots.
  • Cause 144130: The software versions on the master and slave control boards are inconsistent.
  • Cause 144133: The memory size of the system master main control board was inconsistent with that of the system slave main control board.
  • Cause 144134: The PTN start mode is inconsistent with that defined in the activated license.

Procedure

  • Cause 144128: The version in the PAF file is inconsistent with that of the startup software package.

    The PAF version was inconsistent with the version of the startup software package.

    1. Replace the PAF file with a PAF file of the same version as the system software package. Run the startup paf command to set the PAF file as the one to be loaded at the next startup. Then, run the reboot command to restart the device.

    • If the alarm is cleared, go to Step 3.
    • If the alarm persists, go to Step 2.

    2. Collect alarm and configuration information, and contact technical support personnel.

    3. No further action is required.

  • Cause 144129: The boards and subcards were installed in incorrect slots.

    The board or subcard is not inserted into the corresponding slot.

    • In 1:1 working mode, insert the NPU board.
  • Cause 144130: The software versions on the master and slave control boards are inconsistent.

    The versions of the active and standby boards are inconsistent.

    1. Run the startup system-software command to change the version of the slave board to be the same as that of the master board. Then, run the reset slot command to reset the slave board.

    • If the alarm is cleared, go to Step 3.
    • If the alarm persists, go to Step 2.

    2. Collect alarm and configuration information, and contact technical support personnel.

    3. No further action is required.

  • Cause 144133: The memory size of the system master main control board was inconsistent with that of the system slave main control board.

    The memory of the master MPU is inconsistent with that of the slave MPU.

    • Contact technical support engineers to replace the memory module to ensure that the memory modules on the master and slave MPUs are the same.
  • Cause 144134: The PTN start mode is inconsistent with that defined in the activated license.

    The configured startup mode (dcn-management-plane mode or dcn-control-plane mode) does not match the mode selected when the license is activated.

    1. Run the display ptn-mode command to check the configured startup mode.

    2. Run the active mode-control license or undo active mode-control license command to change the startup mode to be the same as that specified in the license file.

    3. The device is restarted, and the NMS needs to reconnect to the device.

    4. End.
