If the MAC address of the L2VE interface or the L3VE interface is the same as that of other interface, you can configure a new MAC address for the L2VE interface or the L3VE interface.

The slot view is displayed.
A MAC address is configured for the L2VE interface.
You can modify the MAC address of the L2VE interface on an NPE if this MAC address is the same as the MAC address of the UPE interface that connects to an NPE. An L2VE interface has only one MAC address.
A MAC address is configured for the L3VE interface.
An L3VE interface uses the bridge MAC address as its MAC address and an Eth-Trunk or portswitch interface also uses the bridge MAC address. If an L2VE interface is bound to the same local VSI with a sub-interface of the Eth-Trunk or portswitch interface and Layer 3 interworking is implemented between the L3VE interface and the sub-interface, packets sent to the L3VE interface may be incorrectly dropped at the Layer 2 interface. To prevent incorrect packet drop, you can modify the MAC address of the L3VE interface. An L3VE interface has only one MAC address.
