Enabling the SZTP Function

Procedure

1. Run set sztp enable

   The device is enabled to execute the SZTP process with no configurations upon the next startup.

   If you do not want the unconfigured device to execute the SZTP process at startup, you can also run the set sztp disable command to disable the SZTP function on the device.

   

   • If IP address information exists in the pre-configuration file, the SZTP function does not take effect.
   • If an IP address has been manually assigned before the device completes automatic configuration, the SZTP function does not take effect.
   • If you run the undo pnp enable command before a device completes automatic configuration, the SZTP function does not take effect.

2. Run display sztp status

   Information about whether the device executes the SZTP process with no configurations upon the next startup is displayed.
