Configuring Transparent Transmission of Link-Layer-Protocol Packets On VPLS/EVPN Networks

This section describes how to transparently transmit untagged link-layer-protocol packets, such as LACP, LLDP, BPDU, CDP, and UDLD packets, on VPLS/EVPN networks.

Procedure

Run system-view
The system view is displayed.
Run interface { interface-name | interface-type interface-number }
The sub-interface view of the AC interface is displayed.
Run link-protocol transport { lacp | lldp | bpdu | cdp | udld } [ untag ]
Types of link-layer-protocol packets that can be transparently transmitted through the sub-interface are configured.
Run commit
The configuration is committed.
