Option Description |
Authentication option. A BRAS encapsulates a reconfigure key into this option of a Reply message to be sent to a client. Upon receipt of the Reply message carrying this option, the client saves the reconfigure key. The BRAS encapsulates an encrypted reconfigure key into this option of a Reconfigure message to be sent to a client. Upon receipt of the Reconfigure message, the client decrypts the reconfigure key. If the decrypted and saved reconfigure keys are the same, the client continues to process the Reconfigure message. |
