Option Description |
Server Unicast option. By default, all the messages sent by a client are multicast messages. When a client and a server are directly connected, the server can specify the IPv6 address to which the client is to send unicast messages in this option of a response message. After receiving the response message carrying this option, the client uses the IPv6 address specified in this option as the destination IPv6 address in the Request, Renew, Decline, or Release messages to be sent to the server. |
