Configuring IBGP Peers to Establish MPLS Local IFNET Tunnels

To carry BGP LSPs, you can configure IBGP peers to create an MPLS local IFNET tunnel.

Usage Scenario

To carry BGP LSPs, you can configure directly connected IBGP peers to establish an MPLS local IFNET tunnel. By default, IBGP peers cannot automatically establish an MPLS local IFNET tunnel. To enable the IBGP peers to establish an MPLS local IFNET tunnel, run the undo peer mpls-local-ifnet disable command.

Procedure

  1. Run system-view

    The system view is displayed.

  2. Run bgp { as-number-plain | as-number-dot }

    The BGP view is displayed.

  3. Run undo peer { peerGroupName | peerIpv4Addr } mpls-local-ifnet disable

    A specified IBGP peer is enabled to create an MPLS local IFNET tunnel.

    An MPLS local IFNET tunnel can be established between IBGP peers only in the BGP-IPv4 unicast address family or BGP unicast labeled address family. To allow an MPLS local IFNET tunnel to be established in the BGP-IPv4 unicast address family, run the peer label-route-capability command to enable the IBGP peers to send and receive labeled routes.

  4. Run commit

    The configuration is committed.
