Enabling LDP GR

Procedure

1. Run system-view

   The system view is displayed.

2. Run mpls ldp

   LDP is enabled on the local LSR, and the MPLS-LDP view is displayed.

3. Run graceful-restart

   LDP GR is enabled.

   

   • When the LDP GR is enabled or disabled, the LDP session is renewed. To disable a device from re-establishing LDP sessions when LDP GR is enabled or disabled, run the no-renegotiate session-parameter-change graceful-restart command.

   • Enabling or disabling LDP GR leads to a reestablishment of an LDP session.

   • During the LDP GR, the undo mpls ldp command and the reset mpls ldp command cannot be run.

4. Run commit

   The configurations are committed.
