In Figure 1, aggregated links exist between interfaces on Device A and Device B. Each aggregated link interface is connected directly to another aggregated link interface in the same way in single neighbor networking.
After LLDP is configured on Device A and Device B, an administrator can use the NMS to obtain Layer 2 configuration information about these devices, collect detailed network topology information, and determine whether a configuration conflict exists. LLDP helps make network communications more secure and stable.
