Description

OSPFV3/2/ROUTERID_CONFLICT_RECOVER: OID [oid] Router IDs confliction is recovered. (ProcessId=[integer], AreaId=[integer], OldRouterId=[gauge], NewRouterId=[gauge])

The system automatically changed the router ID after detecting a router ID conflict in an OSPFv3 area.

Impact on the System

The alarm indicates that the router ID conflict has been resolved, and the system will not be affected.

Possible Causes

Two or more indirectly connected routers shared the same router ID within one OSPFv3 area. This router ID conflict caused frequent router LSA refreshment and route flapping. When detecting this conflict, the system automatically changed a router ID to resolve the problem.

  • This alarm message is informational only, and no action is required.
