Configuring Basic Multicast Network Management Functions	After multicast network management is enabled, you can bind multicast MIBs to the public network instance and enable trap of a specified module. The switch then monitors events of the specified protocol. Currently, the switch supports the following multicast MIBs: Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP) Multicast Listener Discovery (MLD) Multicast Route Management (MRM) PIM (IPv4 and IPv6) Multicast Source Discovery Protocol (MSDP)
Adjusting the Frequency of Multicast Protocol Trap Messages	By setting the interval at which a multicast protocol sends trap messages, you can monitor events of the multicast protocol in a timely manner.
Configuring the Upper and Lower Alarm Thresholds for Multicast Protocol Entries	After you set thresholds for various multicast protocol entries, the switch will report a threshold crossing event when the number of multicast protocol entries reaches a specified value.
Configuring Alarm Thresholds for Multicast Index Usage	After setting the alarm threshold of the multicast index usage, you can learn the multicast index usage in a timely manner. This prevents multicast service failures caused by index resource exhaustion.
