If this is not the first time the switch registers with iMaster NCE-Campus, the switch preferentially uses the device IP address and iMaster NCE-Campus's URL/IP address and port number recorded in a file. To change the iMaster NCE-Campus's URL/IP address and port number through the registration query center, you need to restore the switch to the factory settings.
Interaction between iMaster NCE-Campus and the registration query center through an HTTP/2 connection
As shown in Figure 2, an administrator imports information about new devices, including the ESNs and device types, into iMaster NCE-Campus. iMaster NCE-Campus then initiates an HTTP request to the registration query center to upload the information. After receiving the request, the registration query center performs bidirectional authentication and sets up an HTTP/2 connection with iMaster NCE-Campus. After the HTTP/2 connection is set up, iMaster NCE-Campus uploads its address information and the new devices' information (including ESNs) to the registration query center.
Interaction between a switch and the registration query center through an HTTP/2 connection
NETCONF-capable switches are preconfigured with the URL (register.naas.huawei.com) and port number (10020) of the registration query center. In Figure 3, after the switch connects to the network, it initiates an HTTP request to the registration query center. The switch and registration query center then set up an HTTP/2 connection for bidirectional authentication. After the connection is set up, the switch sends a request packet carrying its ESN to the registration query center. After receiving the request packet, the registration query center finds the corresponding ESN in the system, and sends a response packet carrying iMaster NCE-Campus information to the switch. The switch enables NETCONF and obtains iMaster NCE-Campus information based on the response packet, and then registers with iMaster NCE-Campus for authentication.
