IPv6 PIM Configuration

PIM is implemented on an IPv6 network similarly as the implementation on an IPv4 network. For PIM implementation, see IPv4 PIM Configuration.

In this chapter, the word "router" and the router icon used in figures refer to a conventional router or Layer 3 switch.
