The cu-agent command enables the UP mode and displays the CU-agent view, or directly displays the CU-agent view.
The undo cu-agent command disables the UP mode.
By default, the UP mode is not enabled on the device.
This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.
Usage Scenario
In the CUPS scenario, to enable the UP mode of a device so that the device functions as a vBRAS-UP, run the cu-agent command. In the UP mode, some CUPS channel commands must be run in the CU-agent view
Configuration Impact
After the UP mode is enabled, some commands of other features, such as the user access feature, are no longer supported. For details, see Commands Not Supported on the UP in Control and Forwarding-plane Separation Mode.
Precautions
In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
If the device has been configured with multicast shaping or multicast virtual scheduling, this command cannot be used to enable the CU separation mode.
