dcn-auto-negotiation disable

Function

The dcn-auto-negotiation disable command disables DCN auto-negotiation on a FlexE physical interface.

The undo dcn-auto-negotiation disable command enables DCN auto-negotiation on a FlexE physical interface.

By default, DCN auto-negotiation is enabled on FlexE physical interfaces.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F2A.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

Before running the force-physical-mode ethernet command to forcibly switch the underlying working mode of a FlexE physical interface, run the dcn-auto-negotiation disable command to disable DCN auto-negotiation.
If the underlying working mode of a FlexE physical interface has been automatically adaptive to Ethernet, run the dcn-auto-negotiation disable command to quickly switch the underlying mode back to FlexE.
