dhcpv6-server group(system view)

Function

The dhcpv6-server group command configures a DHCPv6 server group or displays the view of a DHCPv6 server group that exists.

The undo dhcpv6-server group command deletes a DHCPv6 server group.

By default, no DHCPv6 server group is configured on the device.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

dhcpv6-server group group-name

undo dhcpv6-server group group-name

Parameters

Specifies the name of the DHCPv6 server group.

The value is a string of 1 to 32 case-insensitive characters, asterisks (*), question marks (?), quotation marks ("), and spaces not supported.

Usage Scenario

If the device provides the DHCPv6 agent functionality, you need to run the dhcpv6-server group command to configure a DHCPv6 server group so that DHCPv6 requests can be forwarded to a remote DHCPv6 server for processing.

Follow-up Procedure

Configure an IP address and the load-balancing weight for the remote DHCPv6 server in the DHCPv6 server group view and bind the DHCPv6 server group to the remote address pool.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
