Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

To query the clock support capability of a device, including the clock level (high precision or super high precision) of the device and whether interfaces support 1588, run the display clock device-capability command.

Example

The actual command output varies according to the device. The command output here is only an example.

If the 1588 field value is set to Yes, the port supports 1588 time synchronization. If the 1588 field value is set to No, the port does not support 1588 time synchronization.

SyncE

Clock level.

SyncE: SEC indicates a high-precision frequency, and eSEC indicates an ultra-high-precision frequency.
