display cpu-defend hostcar access-user-info slot

Function

The display cpu-defend hostcar access-user-info slot command displays statistics about a specified Host-CAR and information bout the access users limited by the Host-CAR, such as MAC addresses, IP addresses, and online status.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

display cpu-defend hostcar car-id access-user-info slot slot-id

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
car-id

Specifies a CAR ID. After the parameter is specified, statistics about a specified Host-CAR is displayed.

The value is an integer that ranges from 0 to 32767.

access-user-info

Displays information bout the access users limited by a specified Host-CAR, such as MAC addresses, IP addresses, and online status.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

After the Host-CAR is enabled to limit the rate of the packets to be sent to the CPU, running the

display cpu-defend hostcar access-user-info command is recommended in any of the following scenarios:

  • Check whether the configured Host-CAR takes effect.
  • When user services are affected, check whether the configured Host-CAR limits the rate of the packets to be sent to the CPU.
  • When excessive traffic is sent to the CPU, check whether a specified board sends too much traffic to the CPU so that you can adjust the Host-CAR.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.

CarID

CAR ID.

Passed-Bytes

Bytes of permitted packets.

Dropped-Bytes

Bytes of discarded packets.

MAC

MAC address of a user.

PeVlan/CeVlan

Outer and inner VLAN ID.

IP address

IP address of a user.

Username

User name.

Status

Online status of a user. The value can be:

  • online: indicates that the user is online.
  • online-fail: indicates that the user fails to go online.
  • offline-normal: indicates that the user goes offline normally.
  • offline-abnormal: indicates that the user goes offline abnormally.
