dot1x-template (AAA domain view)

Function

The dot1x-template command allows a user to use the dot1x-template in the domain.

The undo dot1x-template command restores the default value.

By default, the dot1x-template 1 is used.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

When 802.1X authentication is required, you need to configure the dot1x template in the system view. The dot1x template specifies the parameters negotiated between the NetEngine 8000 F and the 802.1X client.

After configuring an dot1x template, you can reference it in a domains. The NetEngine 8000 F can then perform the 802.1X negotiation with the parameters defined in the template during 802.1X authentication.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
