Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

When 802.1X authentication is required, you need to configure the dot1x template in the system view. The dot1x template specifies the parameters negotiated between the NetEngine 8000 F and the 802.1X client.

After configuring an dot1x template, you can reference it in a domain. The NetEngine 8000 F can then perform the 802.1X negotiation with the parameters defined in the template during 802.1X authentication.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.

The dot1x template 1 exists by default and cannot be deleted. Except dot1x template 1, all the other dot1x templates must be created with the dot1x-template command.

# Create dot1x template 10 and enter the view of dot1x template 10.
