Usage Scenario
When the EMDI BIER detection solution is used, after the EMDI boards to be detected are configured, run the emdi bier bind lpu-group command to bind a lpu group of bier to detect indicators of bier channels.
Prerequisites
A board group has been created using the emdi lpu-group command. It is recommended that the emdi bind slot all command be configured on the P node to bind all lpu groups.
Precautions
- Only one EMDI lpu group can be bound in bier.
- The emdi bier bind lpu-group command is not supported in multi-VS scenarios. To make BIER EMDI take effect in multi-VS scenarios, configure the emdi lpu-group and emdi bier bind lpu-group commands in Admin-VS.
- When the number of BIER channels exceeds 90% of the upper limit, a threshold alarm is reported. When the number of BIER channels reaches the upper limit, an upper limit-crossing alarm is reported. When the upper limit-crossing alarm is reported, the threshold alarm is cleared. When the number of BIER channels falls below the upper limit, the upper limit-crossing alarm is cleared. When the number of BIER channels falls below 80% of the upper limit, the threshold alarm is cleared. When the number of BIER channels falls below between 80% and 90% of the upper limit, the threshold alarm remains unchanged. When both the common EMDI and BIER EMDI are configured, a threshold alarm may be triggered when the number of channels reaches the upper limit. If the threshold alarm is triggered, it will be cleared in about 2 minutes, leaving only the upper limit-crossing alarm.
