emdi bier channel age-periods

Function

The emdi bier channel age-periods command configures an BIER EMDI age period.

The undo emdi bier channel age-periods command restores the default configuration.

By default, the age period is 10.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Usage Scenario

When no traffic is detected in a multicast group for a period of time, the eMDI BIER channel ages. You can run the emdi bier channel age-periods command to configure an aging period for the channel.
