Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

After ESQM is enabled globally, you must configure a packet sampling direction before starting ESQM.

To configure a packet sampling direction for ESQM on an interface, run the esqm service-stream command in the interface view.

Precautions

  • The current version does not support to monitor L2 service flow on the interface.
  • ESQM cannot be configured on a channelized sub-interface with network slicing configured.

Example

# Configure a device to perform ESQM for inbound packets on GE 0/1/0.
<HUAWEI> system-view
[~HUAWEI] interface GigabitEthernet 0/1/0
