map no-fragment-header enable

Function

The map no-fragment-header enable command configures IPv6 packets not to carry fragment headers after being converted from IPv4 packets with DF flag 0 using MAP-T.

The undo map no-fragment-header enable command configures IPv6 packets to carry fragment headers after being converted from IPv4 packets with DF flag 0 using MAP-T.

By default, IPv6 packets that are converted from IPv4 packets using MAP-T carry fragment headers.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Usage Guidelines

When an IPv4 packet carrying DF flag 0 is converted into an IPv6 packet through the MAP-T function, the post-conversion packet carries a fragment header. If you do not want the post-conversion packet to carry this header, run the map no-fragment-header enable command.
