nbns primary-ip

Function

The nbns primary-ip command specifies an NBNS server for the current domain.

The undo nbns command deletes an NBNS server of the current domain.

By default, no NBNS server is configured to any domain.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

nbns primary-ip ip-addr

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
ip-addr

Specifies the IP address of the NBNS server.

It is in dotted decimal format and must be a valid unicast address.

primary-ip

Specifies the primary NBNS server.

Usage Guidelines

Modifications of the NBNS server specified by the domain take effect during next login.

Example

# Specify the server at 10.1.1.1 as the NBNS server to the current domain.
