Function

The padding enable command enables the padding function.

The padding disable command disables the padding function.

The padding auto command enables the padding adaptation function.

The undo padding command restores the padding function to the default state.

By·default,·the·padding·function·is·adaptive.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F2A.

Format

padding { enable | disable | auto }

undo padding [ enable | disable | auto ]

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

This command is used to control the padding function. In the interconnection scenario, if the padding states at both ends are inconsistent, the Shim layer is not up.

# Enable padding function.
