radius-attribute vendor enable

Function

The radius-attribute vendor enable command adds the ID of a vendor whose private RADIUS attribute the device can parse. Only one vendor ID can be added.

The undo radius-attribute vendor enable command deletes the ID of a vendor whose private RADIUS attribute the device can parse.

By default, the device can parse the private RADIUS attributes of Huawei (2011), Microsoft (311), 3GPP2 (5535), and Redback (2352).

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

radius-attribute vendor vendor-id enable

undo radius-attribute vendor vendor-id enable

The value is an integer in the range 1 to 65535.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

Huawei devices can parse the private RADIUS attributes of Huawei (2011), Microsoft (311), 3GPP2 (5535), and Redback (2352). If you want Huawei devices to parse the private RADIUS attribute of another vendor, run the radius-attribute vendor enable command to add the vendor ID.

Common vendors are IPHOTEL (512), DSL Forum (3561).

Configuration Impact

NOTE:

Only one vendor ID can be added.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
