recycle reserved ipv6-address

Function

The recycle reserved ipv6-address command reclaims all the IPv6 addresses and prefixes reserved in the IPv6 prefix pool.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

Enter the IPv6 local prefix pool view, run the recycle reserved ipv6-address command to reclaim all the IPv6 addresses or prefixes in the address pool. After that, no reserved IP addresses or prefixes exist in the prefix pool view.

Configuration Impact

If the user is online, this command configuration may cause temporary user logout.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command applies only to the admin VS.
