Function

The reset statistics interface command deletes traffic statistics of an interface bound to a VSI.

Format

reset statistics interface { interface-name | iftype ifnumber } vsi vsi-name

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
vsi vsi-name

Specifies a VSI name.

The value is a string of 1 to 31 characters.

interface interface-name

Specifies an interface type.

The value is a string of 1 to 63 characters.

interface iftype

Specifies an interface type.

The value is a string of 1 to 63 characters.

interface ifnumber

Specifies an interface number.

The value is a string of 1 to 63 characters.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

In a VPLS scenario, if you want to re-collect traffic statistics on a specific interface within a certain period, run the reset statistics interface command to delete the existing statistics on this interface.

NOTE:

Deleted statistics cannot be restored. Therefore, exercise caution when running the reset statistics interface command.

# Delete traffic statistics on a sub-interface bound to the VSI named vsi1.
