The tunnel retrans-queue command limits the number of L2TP sessions negotiated in an L2TP tunnel at a specific time point on the LAC. The extra session requests will be denied.
The undo tunnel retrans-queue command deletes the limit on the number of L2TP sessions negotiated in an L2TP tunnel at a specific time point.
By default, the maximum number of concurrent L2TP sessions allowed for an L2TP tunnel is not configured.
This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.
To prevent L2TP session negotiation packets in an L2TP tunnel from exhausting the buffer, run the tunnel retrans-queue command so that only a limited number of L2TP sessions can be established.
The maximum number of sessions that can be concurrently negotiated in the L2TP group has been automatically adjusted using the l2tp session-speed auto-adjustment command. Keeping the default value in the tunnel retrans-queue command is recommended.
