To use Diameter for AAA, enable the Diameter function first. The system view is displayed.
The Diameter protocol is enabled on the router.
A format is set for the Subscription-ID attribute to be sent to Diameter servers.
The number of dog-watch-request (DWR) probe packet retransmissions and a probe timeout period are configured.
The Usage_Report value is set for Event-Trigger.
The maximum number of retransmissions for a CCR-I message is set.
A CCR-I message is retransmitted to a Diameter server if the CCR-I message is not received by the server or the response CCA-I message is discarded by the client. The message is not retransmitted any more when the specified maximum number of retransmissions is reached.
The configuration is committed.
