BIERv6 Configuration
BIERv6 and G-BIER support the same functions. By default, a device uses BIERv6 to transmit and parse MVPN routes. To change the BIERv6 mode to the G-BIER mode, you can run the src-dt4 locator locator-name sid sid-val [ signal-format msid ] command to configure the device to use the MSID attribute to carry Src.DT4 SID information or run the src-dt6 locator locator-name sid sid-val [ signal-format msid ] command to configure the device to use the MSID attribute to carry Src.DT6 SID information.

- Configuring BIERv6 involves configuring basic BIERv6 functions and enabling IS-ISv6 BIERv6. You also need to configure inter-AS static traversal if you deploy the BIERv6 network across ASs. In cases where an AS contains nodes that do not support BIERv6 forwarding, intra-AS automatic traversal is automatically implemented, requiring no additional manual configuration.
