The commands for monitoring IGMP snooping display Layer 2 multicast information, including the information about the Layer 2 multicast enabling status, the forwarding table and port table, and the protection group.
MLD snooping statistics mainly include the number of Report, Query, Done and other protocol messages received from broadcast domains. If such statistics are not needed or new statistics needs to be collected, you can clear existing MLD snooping statistics.
To monitor the running status of MLD snooping, you can run display commands to check Layer 2 multicast information, including information about function status, forwarding table, interface table, and protected groups.
